SPANISH 1A/B

The purpose of this course is to develop a basic proficiency in communicating in the Spanish language. This is a year-long introduction to the basic elements of the Spanish language and culture. Students study major vocabulary categories and parts of speech. The course covers all four learning modalities: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. 

Blended Approach: Students need to earn 75 points to complete each semester. Points are added from the work students complete in class and the work they complete in Edgenuity.

For the second year, students review the basic elements of Spanish grammar and expand their communicative abilities by acquiring a higher functional level vocabulary acquisition. The course covers all four learning modalities: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
