This week, students tied dyed bandanas, which will become their canvases for their screen printing projects.

Students worked on creating portraits using black construction paper, toned paper, or regular drawing paper. They also utilized  watercolor color pencils and ivory drawing pencils. Students worked on creating the portrait of Toypurina, a native American young woman who fought for her people's rights.

This week, students worked on a family/friends map and discussed building relationships, communication, problem solving, and asking for help.

This week, students created abstract work using watercolors.

This week, students created a collage and showed their positive vision about the community. They incorporated allegory and presented their work to others.

This week, students worked collaborative to create a mural while incorporating the allegory theme.
